Medicine Hat JazzFest

The Medicine Hat JazzFest, a presentation of the Medicine Hat Jazz Society. This celebrated festival brings free and ticketed events to a variety of unique venues across Medicine Hat, including a hangar at the regional airport, the Esplanade's terrace and front lawn, and more. With a mission to present world-class music, foster community, and educate about jazz, the festival features concerts, a dance party, jams, and educational programs such as workshops and performances for elementary school children. A two-time winner of the Medicine Hat Chamber of Commerce Tourism Award of Distinction and recipient of the Alberta Chamber of Commerce Business Award in Arts and Culture, the JazzFest has earned recognition for seamlessly blending exceptional jazz with a vibrant, community-focused celebration.
