A shallow but wide waterfall caused by the change of course of the Bow River situated very near Banff. Further along, the Bow River mingles with the Spray River. Enjoy seeing the falls and the scenery around the falls. Walk along the trail by the side of the Falls (the trail is not very stroller friendly as there are numerous steps), or enjoy a picnic. You can join for float tours which start at Bow Falls to the Hoodoos, by Rocky Mountain Raft Tours.
